Development. Our region’s economic future lies in sustainable, community-controlled development that supports local, independent businesses, living wage jobs, and environmental responsibility. Development resources should be concentrated in high-need areas where they will have the greatest impact, not squandered on greenfield sites in areas experiencing development pressure. Municipalities and developers should center residents as experts and decision-makers in their own neighborhoods.
